A "GREAT" beginning of the year

Today is the 1st day of CNY. I should be very happy celebrating it. But, happiness can't last long sometimes. And this is not what a person would ask for and want to.

I still remember I was soooo happy... not until that this happened....

My uncle, drove my car for awhile today, happily knocked my car to the divider. I know why, because he was too happy talking and looking around. Pointing here and there.

My heart was like dropped deep into a valley of nowhere when I heard the little 'noise' of knock.

I quickly went to see it... and this is my car's injury....

The paint is scratched.

The bumper stuck out a little because a clip snapped.

I found more when I got home.

You see, what a "GREAT" beginning of the lunar year I had.

I know, the FUxKING damage is not major. But, it's my new car!!!! Brand new I mean!!! Do you know how I feel huh??? Nobody has driven my car, and you were the 1st. You knocked it, ok, fine. But what was your response??? Haiyah.... nothing, no big deal....

WTF!!!!???? It's not your car of course you said so... Got no intention to pay me or saying sorry?? What an ugly elder you are. I dont care, I'd send you a statement after I send for repair. If you're that 'thick face' for not paying me back, I've no words to say. No more words and conversation I can share with you. EVER!!

Wasn't mom's fault, but she said she'll pay for me. Not cousin sis's fault, and she said let her know how much when I fix it. And you?? What a happy day huh?? Drink and smoke. NON-STOP!!

Mom and cousin sis, don't pay for the damage. It's his fault and he should be the one who pay. Not you both. You thought u're an elder and I should cover for you is it?? Don't ever dream about that.

**********************************************************************************

Something more interesting happened a few minutes ago. There is a Waja, parked right in front of our house. That's my brother's parking (mine is parked in the house). So we found out that it is this Indian neighbour's car (their friend).

I walked to them, and asked whether it's their car. A few uncles went to check for me and apologized. Then came out this bold guy, and said :" where do you want to park? Am I blocking? i didn't park the car in front of the entrance. As long as I didn't block, then it's ok. I'm parking at a public road."

URGH!!! Why there is such person on earth. Altough you didn't block, but that's our space ok?! Right in front of our house. How about I park right there at the house? Public also eh???

A few uncles again, asked him to move (in Tamil, but I guess that was what they meant), he started the engine, but still telling me that's the public space. Farting!!! An uncle kept apologizing, that this bold fella talked too much. I guess they were all embarrassed of him. Yes, he did move his car, for 1CM!!!

Fine, you go ahead. I don't want to get myself into any worse situation. Enjoy your FOOD old chunk (no offence).

Going out to party now to cheer myself up.

Happy Birthday Jenn

As the title says, it was my birthday yesterday (only 1 hour passed actually). I've been having the strong feeling of blogging these few days, I've no idea why. Too free?? Haha

It was very happy that I had all the wishes, celebrations, cards and pressies from my friends and family. Thank you all~~

I got these 2 cards, from my friends. One, she posted to me 3 weeks ago. Happy enough, she didn't sign the card. LOL. What a cute person. Luckily she did write her address behind the envelope.

these cards look so sweet to me ;)

Then, my buddy Zoe, lied to me on the phone, asking me where was I, and telling me what she was doing in 1U when I was at work. When I got home, saw an envelope on the table. My sis told me, the dogs barked, and she got this and didn't see anyone. Silly Zoe dumped it into my mailbox and ran away. Sweet and heart-warming though... xoxo

Another buddy, suddenly sms me to ask do I mind if I get clock/shoes as presents for my birthday. Of course I dont mind at all!! And I thought, she might be choosing present for me, as the day before we went out together, I didnt manage to get heels I want.

After a few hours, her bf called me. Asking whether if I were home. Luckily I was. And I got this.

Kinda big huh

Unwrapped it ...............................................................................................................

Ta da~~~~~~ a clock!! I was wrong!!!

Dang dang dang!! Got it right at 12am!! Beginning of my birthday.

Ding!! Lights on!!

I was kinda surprised to get a clock, a good surprise. :) couldn't stopped laughing when I saw this GIANT clock. I mean GIANT!! Take another look of me with it.

Now, see. Giant?? Bigger than my head!!

It's just cute as how it looks. ;) xoxo
Had a sweet dream.

The next day, cousin sis came to look for me for lunch. But we didn't go out in the end. Mom cooked. She gave me this cute thingy.......... It's kinda deja vu... that she got me a pressie that I was thinking for about 2 months and I didnt tell anyone....

Nah... not a shiny yellow paper bag. LOL

Yes!! This is it!! The solar collection that I'd always wanted. :D

Later, I went out for dinner with mom and bro. Funny and cute aunty (I called my mom like this sometimes), walked next to me while we were entering this Thai restaurant and said:" I be the boss today okay?"

I scratched my head a bit and HUH?? Oh~~~ she meant, her treat. xoxo so cute~

Thai coconut to drink of course.

Rice that look like 'lo mai gai'

Starter, Manggo Salad with fish. Slurp~ but too spicy for me.

My favourite SOTONG!! Bro odered the wrong dish though... I wanted green curry claypot!!

And.... I got no idea what's the name of this dish.... ha!

Less than RM50 for this meal only. Worth it right?? It tasted good too. Not my first time to eat in this Thai restaurant. Run by Thai, so all the dishes are original~~ Not much meat, more vege this time (hehe... we ate too much junks at home).

On our way home (yes, I took it while driving again), it looked nicer in real.

An hour later, a friend came and brought me out. ^_^
And I had lots of love(s).

Ooohoo~~~ Perlini's Silver~~

YAY~~ see??? Not one love, but two. haha

Although this year's celebrations were nothing like previous years, but honestly, I'm truly dearly HAPPY. :))
Can't stop smiling. Had a great time with my buddies and family. And this is enough for me. I'm satisfied. Thank you. Love you all. xoxo

The weekend fun

Remember the crackers bought from Kuala Selangor? Mom had fried them, but only one packet first, the potato chips. :D Yummy~~ We're going to serve all the potato, sweet potato and prawn crackers during CNY~~ whoever likes it, welcome to be my guest.

Mom looking very serious ;) muaks~

Frying one by one... so it took quite awhile to fry all...

There. All looking delicious.

I know it would taste so good. Because mom fried it. (^0^)

On top of that, we're having something a bit different to serve the guest this year. hehe... Something exotic to us...

No. 1 Grisbi- it's lemon+ginseng flavoured if you can read from the box.

Cant be seen very clearly in here, but it tastes awesome!!!

I honestly hate the smell and taste of ginseng. When I was young, whenever mom made food/herbs soup with ginseng in it, I would definitely ran way. But this Grisbi, the quatity of ginseng is not much. So, with the blend of lemon, it tastes quite delicious. So sorry, I had finished all. hahaha

No. 2 Bosari--- haha... what's this?? starfruit??? Of course not!!

It's heart melting butter cake!! :D :D

Uhm.... ehem.... hehe... it was my and mom's breakfast. Out of stock as well. LOL
No worries, the 3rd one, a lot more left. :))

No. 3-Hoppe (I dont understand the name either).

Hoppe, is one kind of cookie to be served when drinking tea in the Europe. In this bunch of Hoppe, some are cookies, some are chocolates. But in a conclusion, all taste damn good!! Can come and try this only. hahaha... sorry :P I've such big appetite..... :((

Besides these exotic food sis brought back from Netherlands, her bf's mom bought us each one present. And I got this nice thingy... ~~~~~~~

Very beautiful wrapping right???

Ta da~~ a very very pretty necklace!!! The Dutch Shoes are made from porceline.

Ahhhh~~~ awww... heart melting cute little thingy~~ thank you aunty (sorry, I dont know your name)~~~

Ok, getting ready to leave. My family's reunion dinner is in tonight. Happy Chinese New Year~~~~ Biii biii (sound of the whistle okay.......)~~~

Update of CNY is creeping closer

Remember the previous, previous post of CNY? About the fish-shaped cuttings?? My colleagues were interested about it, so I cut 9 for the assistant managers for them to deco their room (but in the end, I decorated it).

This is how they look like pasted on the semi-transparent door. Cute isn't it?? Say Yes. LOL

Looking good too right??? I'm using it as my phone's wallpaper and mom thought it was some kind of symbols until I told her it wasn't. Haha

For this week (maybe previous week too), I've been losing control on my lunches..... sighs.... u see................................ I'M IN TROUBLE!!!!

This is called 'lakbal'. Vegetarian 'laksa'. Fattening!!!

Kim Gary!!! Hate you!! Made such delicious food!! Made me irresistable!!

'Seafood Stone Rice'. After I mixed and mixed and mixed.

Oh-mi-gosh!! All fattening stuff I had!! I'm very sure I'd be blown like a balloon during this CNY. More pics to be uploaded. Stay tune. Gotta sleep more to let my body burns those FATS!!!

A morning...

It's now 9.20am. I've just reached my work place not long ago. The traffic was jammed almost every morning...

On the way, I saw an ambulance speeding with its siren put on. I blanked for awhile, then I thought of my dad...

He was sent to the hospital a few times before he joined the family with heavenly Father. The ambulances from the government sucked!! I tell you. Rude and wanted 'coffee money' all the time.

The last time dad was sent in an ambulance was back home from the hospital. Mom decided to call a private ambulance. That was very nice. They drove slow, whenever there was a traffic, they put on the siren. Everything they did were to make sure my dad to be comfortable....

Dad had his birthday celebration on that week itself.... I'm thankful that he managed to celebrate before he left. At least his wish was fulfiled. He left after 2 weeks, silently and peacefully. I was relieved, that he didn't have to suffer anymore. Seeing him having difficulty in breathing, extremely in pain and messed up by the drugs to lessen his pain was heart-breaking to us.

I regret I didn't do my best to be with him when he was still around. This will be stuck to me forever.

I miss you dearly Baba. T_T

CNY is creeping closer!!

Here comes the once in a year big big festival again~ Happy Chinese New YEAR!!!!

Since our house is renovated, we still didn't really decorate the house during any festive seasons. So this year, I want to do something simple and nice. This is what I did:

I've found some used 'ang paus' (from previous year)

And I cut it into this shape. Can see what it is ar??

I cut and cut and cut. Until the table was all messed up....

Are they nice??? It was addictive in making these.. haha

And then pasted them on the wall....

Very colourful and chinese looking right?? (least I thought so...)

So, I took some pics, then the next day i incidentally showed it to my colleagues and talked about these 'fishes' I've made. Then they said to me, if I want to decorate my house, I should put only 9 fish, just like the famous painting of carp.

Also, the carp should be 'swimming' towards my house, not opposite. By doing so, then only it will be prosperity and bring good luck. Although I'm not a superstitious person, but I changed it after I went home just for precaution.

So now my wall looks like this:

Still attractive?? :))

Will get more decorations. :D

*************************************************************************************

I read in the newspaper today of what greetings should be wished during this CNY. I found it very interesting and hilarious. The best is to wish only greetings like "Gong Xi Fa Cai", "Wan Shi Ru Yi" and "Shi Shi Shun Li".

What shouldn't be made are.... HAHAHA very funny....

1. 财源广进
2. 招财进宝

Very curious to know why right??? Because 财源广进 will sound like 裁员广进 (more and more people will get fired. LOL) and 招财进宝 will sound like 遭裁禁饱 (you got fired and your stomach could not be filled).

Haha... good ones??? Hope you all like it. :D

Time to cut more 'fish' ciao~

TREAT!!

Well, there is nothing new about myself, so I decided to give an update of my closest friends---- Lulu and Brownie (the ultimate partners). Hahahahaha

Since I started to work, I find myself neglected them a bit... so I decided to give them a treat!! So I went to bought this when I went to the pet shop...

tee hee~ real chicken meat yo~

As usual, Lulu and Brownie rushed up quickly when they heard the sound of me opening the packaging.....

And this is Lulu waiting for the treat:

haha. Lulu: give it to me quick!!

I gave it to her of course. Now, see how she munched it

Now you see (a small bit).....

Wala~ disappeared. R.I.P real chicken meat.

Fast isn't it?? She can be put on a lot..... and after munching one in a second, she wants another. And Brownie was still munching his... he's quite slow in having new stuff... takes time to overcome. LOL

Look at those eyes~~

Like talking right?? Of course I couldnt resist her powerful talking eyes and gave her another.

And then she rushed up for another.

Glad they were both happy eating the treat I bought. Uh... think they were happy. hahaha... cos they didnt shout and scream saying they were happy. haha

Happy New Year 2009

Ahem, (in a serious tone) I would like to wish everyone to have a great year start, with good health, good wealth, career, love, friendship and peace. Hope all my friends and family had a wonderful celebration.

As for me, I ended work at 3pm and headed home. But the traffic had already started to move slow. I took a nap and had dinner with mom at home. Later, I decided to stay home (actually nobody dated me, that was why.. Shhhhh).

It was not bad after all. Sis called back sharp at 12am from Netherlands to wish mom Happy New Year. Then, her bf talked to mom as well. Wishing her in chinese (only the Xin Nian Kuai Le part) in a weird accent. Haha.

That was how my new year eve. Had it with mom, and some friends online chatting. Thank you guys~~

As for the 1st of January 2009, I went to have a decent lunch with mom (my treat okayyyy). She allowed me to pay for the bill at last (maybe she saw my balance when she update my bank book. LOL).

We went to this restaurant nearby called Mizi Shabu-Shabu to have our New Year lunch. It was not as great as I thought, but it was not bad at all. Sorry for the bad looking pics. LOL. Almost finishing then only I remembered I need pics for my blog. haha

Almost empty. Haha. Sorry about that.

Bright looking colour.

Ready? 1, 2, 3 dips.

Oops, still not cooked yet. Dip again.

Ok, it's cooked now. Steaming hot (the pot).

I was looking forward for the beef, it cost bloody RM8 for a plate. It wasnt nice at all. Worse than eating pork slices. The texture of the beef was so rough and hard. Mom said they might have bought some cheap meat. Not going to have beef in this restaurant AGAIN!!

Another filling meal. So I decided to have a good exercise for myself. And I washed my car. Haha. This is how it looks after I rubbed and rubbed and rubbed.

TA DA~~~~~~

Shinny??

Bling bling??

Clean??

Well, I think it is. Until I could took a picture of myself. With mom at the back. LOL. It streched us both a bit though. And mom's tummy bulging. HAHA Effect of the window.

Washed the car and brushed the car porch, had a good sweat. Felt great!! A good year start I guess. :) Least, it was meaningful.
