Hi peeps! How are the CNY celebration and holiday going so far? Hope everyone is having fun!

Before I begin to share the night at Queens, I'll share with you guys the pics of a random beautiful morning.

Night scenes in Paris - Louvre Museum, Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe

After the day tour and pictures, here are the night scenery of the famous tourist spots in Paris, France.

What I love about the architecture in Paris is - very very neat. All the buildings all so well designed and lining up symmetrically!

The Louvre Museum

The Louvre Museum, it's the largest museum I've ever been to. If I studied each artifacts closely, I think I'd need to stay in the museum for 3 months. It's really huge and grand. It has 5 levels, the Napoleon Hall where the information counter located; lower ground floor, ground floor, first floor and second floor.

This is one of the mail hall on the floor, where rooms around are placed with many many art pieces and statues.

Many many huge and magnificent statues like this in Louvre Museum.

The Venus De Milo, the goddess of love. :)

Later, I found more and more peculiar sculptures. I've no idea why ancient artists liked these designs, so I was there trying to find out!

Like this one, first sight, I thought, wow! 2 naked men killing each other?
Hmmm....

Oh well, maybe they didn't wear clothes that time?

And even more peculiar! A group of men starring their own genitals??
I had to laugh when I saw this.

It's really an interesting place to visit. The pictures I've posted, it's not even 1% of the art pieces in the museum. So we took a map and just went and looked at those famous ones.

How we crossed the year

Year 2012, a better year for everyone.

Well, it's a day alone again, but I'm not lonely. I had a good time with some good friends.

First, we went Times Square to have Sakae Sushi.

Mango roll, just average. Yuzu's one is better.

Salmon's skin sushi.

Some salmon which was not consumed by me.

Chawanmushi! My love.

Soft Shell Crab Crepe.

Sakae Salad! Super big portion!

Agedashi Tofu again.

Then we off to Supernova for party. But, road blocked everywhere! Ended up, we reached Supernova only the next year =.=

Short escape to Genting

Wow.... 5 days more to new year, time flies like a jet.

Before I share the escapade to Genting, I'll share the moon eclipse first.

Moon was about to be fully covered.

I got a 3-day off two weeks ago, so Genting I went with Darren, my colleague. A funny and nice Chindian that speaks Hokkien. LOL

It was more like a food trip as we ate more than doing anything else.

First we went to Pizza Factory.

Some BBQ flavoured chicken wings.

Hawaiian Pizza.

After eating, we walked around and checked out the X'mas decor around.

No patient to wait until the crowd left, so, a picture with an aunty.

In between, went to the casino and looked at Darren playing the roulette. Maybe spent a few hours, out from the casino, we ate again at The Bakery. Hahahaha

Year 2011 is going to end soon. This year, so much good things happened and some tiny bits of bad things. However, I'd say it's quite a good year anyway and I'm positive that next year will be even better.

Disneyland Paris 2008 - so outdated

After we went cycling around in Paris yesterday, we went Disneyland today.

We hopped onto the metro and Disneyland we went!

Slept like a pig on the metro.

1st day in Paris - cycling!

From London to Paris via Eurostar, took us only 2 hours, very convenient and fast! I remember the round trip ticket cost about 60 euros.

So after check-in to the hostel and dropped our belongings, we did not waste any seconds and headed right out to the city!

Oh! Before I start, please make sure you get one Paris Metro pass for more convenient and cheaper way to travel around. It's called "Paris Visite", where you can choose from 1, 2, 3 or 5 days pass cover zone 1-3 or zone 1-5. I got the most expensive ones which last 5 days and cover zone 1-5, depends on where you want to go. For more info, please visit website.

Another reason we went to Eiffel Tower was because the meet up point of a tour. What tour? Bike tour!!! which named Fat Tire Bike Tours. :D For more info, please check HERE. They got all sorts of tours like day, night, combo and such. Not only in Paris, but London and Barcelona too!

It's all about farewell and gathering

It was a sad news to us all that Okumura Sensei (our Japanese tutor) would be leaving us all and back to Japan as her mother has gotten sick.

So, me and Sammie quickly thought of a farewell for our beloved tutor. She had been teaching us for more than 2 years, a total of 5 levels! It's really sad that she has left and we would be taught by another sensei.

On the 6th Oct 2009, we left Liverpool by taking National Express to London, where the travel journeys began~~

I made a booking at The Bird's Nest and stayed alone at this hostel for 3 nights :D Unbelievable that I did it! It is located in Deptford, near to Greenwich. Just 5 minutes walk to Deptford railway, quite convenient but far away from town centre.

Liverpool Cathedral

For 3 months that I stayed in Liverpool, I didn't get the chance to visit this landmark. It's just located right opposite of Dean Walters building, the place where I had all my tutorials.

So, a day before I left Liverpool to London, I paid a visit to this awesome place.

If I were to advance my studies to Masters and got to graduate, this would be the place for graduation!

Liverpool Museum

Liverpool Museum is a very interesting place to visit. It's not an ordinary museum, I'd say it's more like a science centre or a mini zoo? Look through the pics below and you'd know why I said so~

The activities that I had in Liverpool is seriously delayed for too long. I feel so bad that I've forgotten some of the details!! T_T

Now I can only put whatever I can remember.... I have to update the rest very very soon!!

On the 2nd of September 2008 (yeah, 3 years ago!!!), nothing particular to do, we're all just counting down the days to leave Liverpool, sadly, Ivan and I decided to visit St George's Hall and St John's Garden.

Some fun activities and feasting trips which I have accumulated and update at one go! :D

Which explains really well that all the fats that I've gained back. Arghhhhh!! That's so not cool. :( Why ain't I skinny??

Anyway, let's begin!

1. Vintry - Wine and roasted pork

Bangkok Rush Hour - Part 3 (the finale)

Every entry has its ending. So this is it, the finale of my 9 days trip in Bangkok.

With the flood situation there now, I can only pray that the water to be drained to the ocean really soon. God be with the people in Bangkok, Amen.

Bangkok Rush Hour - Part 2 (it's all about food)

As it was a business trip, I didn't get the chance to go many places. But makan place, I went to quite a few of them of course as needed to eat to energize myself everyday!!

1. Yayoi Japanese Restaurant

It's a franchise, I went to the branch in Big C.
There's one in Central as well.

Bangkok Rush Hour - Part 1

As my boss is very random and makes decision rapidly, I was told on the 26th Sept that I'd fly to Bangkok for training the next day! *gasp*

I finished work at 12am, got home showered and packed, slept at 3am, then got up at 6am, taxi reached my place at 7am and 8am, I reached the airport. Instantly, I felt myself like a businesswoman! LOL

Oldtown's Enrich Chocolate, enriched and kept me energetic!

Reached Suvarnabhumi airport, went to check in at Arnoma Hotel, but my room was not ready T_T

So I left my luggage there and went to work!

Dinner time, colleague brought me to Kumpoon at Central World for dinner.

You know why? Because this one's with salted egg!!
So in a bite, there were tastes of sour, spicy and salty!

After dinner, continued to work until 10pm (BKK time), supposed to be 11pm, but my boss was kind enough to let me off to rest.

Meeting Hang Hang at Tony Roma's The Gardens

Since my cousin sis gave birth to her first boy, we had not seen or met before. So on Malaysia Day, we met for lunch at Tony Roma's The Gardens. It was such an hearty meal!

Krabi Cozy Place Hotel

Krabi Cozy Place Hotel is a good place for a short stay. It's located in the city center of Krabi, with walking distance to the shopping mall and night market.

If you want to have a night rest to catch a flight the next day, this is the place.

The big sign at the junction, directing you to the hotel.

Very green bathroom.

Nothing fancy, but well equipped.

I stayed in a Deluxe Pool Side room where you have a balcony and access to the pool directly.

It's not a big pool, but good for relax.

It's not a big and fancy hotel, but comfortable and homey.

Only 3 floors.

I think it's the only hotel with swimming pool in Krabi town.
