The Curious Case of................ A Homicide

This morning, when I was getting ready to drive to work, I was shocked!! A HOMICIDE in my house??? No!!!!!!!! I don't want my lovely-comfortable-safe-place-to-be turning into a crime scene!!

No time to wonder, as I was quite running out of time (need to get to work =.=). So I quickly asked Brownnie and Lulu to get in the cage, I need to reverse my car. Lulu was like very reluctant to go into the cage (this is unusual).... Was like there was something really scary.. Then..... I found the murderer!! Police!!!! Beep beep!!

Na!! That's the corpse!! Together with the murderer!!

This *doot* *doot* *doot* Brownnie ( I don't know how to describe him).......... It must be him!! Lulu wouldn't do such kind of thing except Brownnie!! When I took this picture, he was still staring hard at his prey and making the 'grrrrr' noise....

Pity Lulu... was so scared...

I don't like mice, especially those running on the alley... AIKS!! And I don't really fond of cats. But now, keeping dogs, can keep mice away~~~~ Wee~~~~ I have a dog that catches mice!! Woohoo~~~ What made him so 'clever' in such a short time... as we all know, Brownnie is abit of 'retarded'?? LOL.

I'm happy that there's miracle and luck

An entry dedicated to a lucky guy (because I blog on a purpose haha)

My LJMU coursemate has come to Malaysia to work, and coincidentally, his office and place to stay is very near to my office.... so we arranged a time for lunch. He knows only Jusco Tmn Maluri, so it's perfect, I asked him to wait me there and I'd bring him to Kim Gary for lunch.

Jenn:" Hello friend! Where are u? I'm here already."

Friend:" Oh! hi Jenn!! Hmm... I'm here in front at this black canyon...."

Jenn:" Alright alright. You wait there, I'll come and get you."

When I got there, I saw him all dressed up. Shirt+slack+vest+shoes (my gosh. so charming~~ too bad I didn't take a pic). And I was in T-shirt+jeans+trekkies (oh my gosh. what a turn off! LOL). He was standing right in front of the RHB bank ATM machine withdrawing money, with a man.... (ooo... he brought a man together... haha)

That man is his boss. Oopps. He didn't join us for lunch, just said hi to me then bye. LOL

Friend:" Do you know how to figure this thing out? You see, I was trying to withdraw money from Maybank at first, it gave me a receipt but the money didn't come out. Do you know is there any hotline or something?"

(He was extremely cool.... applause!! I'd have bursted if that happened to me)

Jenn:" What!! Hmm... let me check..."

I looked here and there. No, I can't find anything. Then we reached the entrance of Kim Gary, went in. Oh!! Met his boss again. LOL what a coincidence. He was with purpose I assumed... hahahaha

Then we sat down, and happily odering food. After that, he told me he wants to go check out how he could solve the problem.

Friend:" I got back my money."

Jenn:" Really?? How??!! (was so happy and excited)"

Friend:" Well, I went back to the ATM machine, and a shoes salesboy told me, someone
left the money on top of the machine. And the money is really there."

Jenn:" WOW!! You're a lucky man!! How magical that is. Someone left the money there.
And it had been so long since we ordered the food and stuff. I'm really surprise!!"


So magical isn't it??? At first it was like something very unlucky and in the end it became something magical. La la la~~~~~ Life is full of magical and surprises~~~~

So, we ate our lunch happily~~~

My favourite Japanese Seafood Stonerice.

His set lunch has this dessert (pic below). He asked what was it. And I don't know. So he took a bit, tasted and said............ "it has no taste. I don't know what is it either. LOL"

So, I ate a bit to find it out as well. And........... I couldn't fingured it out what was it too. We just know that the topping is red bean. hahaha... We ate and ate and ate, tried and tried and tried until it was almost finished................... and yet, we still don't know. hahahahaa

Good to meet you again, friend. And you're very lucky!! LOL

so wanting to go overseas

My Valentine's date

Well, last Saturday, was this special day for almost everyone---- The Valentine's Day. That was why, I spent almost an hour looking for a parking lot!! And it wasn't close to dinner time yet!! My gosh!!

I went out from home at about 3.45pm, reached 1U at 4.10pm. Found a parking lot at 5pm. Queued to get the movie tickets (Inkheart) at GSC until 5.30pm.... what a waste of time.. And the counter told me.......................

"Only first row is left"

"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!"

So we decided not to watch. Turned to TGV. Crossing our fingers that we could get a nice movie to watch and have a good seat. In the end, we got tickets, 4th row. Not too good, but better than 1st row!!!

The movie was at 8.15pm (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), so we went for dinner 1st before the movie started. And..... there I went Sakae Sushi again. HAHA. I know....

My appetizer--Soft Shell Crab (sorry, half eaten :P)

Main course--Curry Katsu Don

And the dessert-- Kani Chawanmushi

And some other sushi that I didn't take a picture of. Those were all my food really.... my friend didn't even take a small bite. My gosh!! My stomach can really take up a lot of stuff!!! Sei fei mui (fatty bom-bom, Hahah!!) still eat so much!!

The best part, that wasn't just that. I ate a LARGE CARAMEL POPCORN all by myself!! Oh my........ =.=

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, is really a GREAT movie. Brad Pitt, is really a GREAT actor. He's really good in expressing, especially when Benjamin (the character) was young but looking old... and looking very charming when he was 'old' looking very young... This story is really a good one, unique as I can say. A man who was born in an old age, but aging backwards. How magical...................

I nearly teared while watching (held it so that I don't get my eyes all smudged.. lol).... because I found, aging backwards is so sad in many ways........ Just imagine, all the people around you about your age, are different from you..... When they are young, actively jumping and running around, you have to sit on wheelchair or walk with crutches.... or the opposite way....

It just made me feel so sad of him..... and putting myself in his shoes made me shiver and don't know what to do... more like feeling to die rather than to live... and my life would be so lonely... can't be a parent or having a life-partner..... so sad.... T_T

There were two lines in the movie that made me remember until today, and I will remember it forever.... Benjamin (and Captain Mike) said: "You can be as mad as a mad dog at the way things went. You could swear, curse the fates, but when it comes to the end, you have to let go." This is sooooooooo meaningful and touching. Yea, all we can do is to let go whatever that we can't change anymore. That's the destiny and that's the way it should be....

The second, "everyone has their time to go, then only we know how important that person is to us"... how said is this, but yet, it's a fact... There are people in our lives, that we don't realize they were important to us... until the day the passed on... and we realize, how important they are........

To all my loved ones, R.I.P and I'll remember you all forever.............

emo'ing

Pimple!! Acne!! Die!! Die!! Die!! YAY~~~~~~~~

My pimple and acne problem, started only about 2 years ago. I've always been curious, why I didnt have it when I was having my puberty? Why wait till now?? It's been bothering me for quite a while... when my condition was very bad, I even went to see skin specialist.....

He made me take medicines, and use his own 'products'..... Obviously, he didn't help me and cure my problem. But, he did take away more than 500 bucks from my mom's purse.. and until today, the problem is still here, but less serious. At least not so many big big ones like 'volcanoes' will grow on my face now (well, once in a while but only one or two)......

There was one period, this problem lowered my self-esteem..... When I was outside, I walked with my eyes looking down the road.... keeping my hair long enough to cover up...

Although the problem isn't that serious anymore now, in fact, it's much better!! But still, scars are on my face.... sob sob... it's so important for girls... a perfect skin, not to mention perfect, a proper skin (or face)!!

When I was figuring how I could fix my problem, someone kind enough, bought me a gift pack.........

Clearasil Stayclear range

To be honest, this packaging is really nice.

And it says 'clear skin confidence'. Suits me a lot. Because I need confidence.

See, there are for cleanse, for tone, for moisture and for treat!

I don't want to have this problem following me anymore!! And I want to be pretty and beautiful~~~~~~~ who doesn't??? So I decided to give it a try.............

This was how it look at first.

And this, after 2 days. Dries up and not so red anymore.

That was the pimple treatment cream, that dries up my pimple. This Clearasil Stayclear range has good aromathic scent, very refreshing just like cucumber. The cleanser, I tried on the Skin Perfecting Wash, but not yet the Oil Free Gel Wash. It's quite comfortable and refreshing. I really did feel my face is cleansed. And for the toner, it doesn't hurt or give me the sting (which some toner usually do with the over dos of alcohol), it's just nice. Smells good too. :))

As for the moisturizer, it is not the same as any other moisturizer. Because I don't feel oily on my face after I applied it! That's the greatest thing!! Because oil+dry are one of the reasons why pimple and acne grow....

I'm hoping Clearasil can help me fights with the acne and I'll win the battle~~~~~~~~~~~

'Sleepies' means to me as something that causes you to be very sleepy even when you're typing or doing something you can go 'fishing'.

'Sleepies' is really annoying, especially when I'm at work.. urgh!! Totally difficult to be controlled the urge of falling asleep..... ZZZzzzZZZ

Lucky enough, my company provides us refreshment, all self service. Whatever you want, you can get. We have greentea, all kinds of coffee (even those originally from Vietnam), chinese tea, flower tea, Milo, chinese herb tea and..... Lipton Milk Tea. :D Nice eh??

just experienced the scary and crowded VDay celebration by people nowadays. WOW!!

Shopping~ Wee~~

Last Monday, was a replacement holiday for Thaipusam (When I was born, it was Thaipusam too). Where to go? Shopping of course...!! So I went to 1U shopping mall with my buddy Zoe "tong xue" (classmate)...

The first thing we did, went to fish and co. straight away.. because we hadn't had our breakfast yet.... My favourite place to eat in 1U...

My fav drink. Cola Tonic. (I drank 3 glasses~)

This Fried Calamari was superb!!

It was such a pleasant day... It has been so long since the last time we went for shopping in 1U... The last time of crazy shopping spree was before we went to UK... that time we bought stuff like no money needed to be used. LOL

Meeting a New friend..

Last Saturday, after I had lunch with my buddies, I went to meet a new friend....






Not a guy... I wish too... but no... LOL

While we're leaving, she was reluctant to go into her cage and wanted to follow. She that was what she did. Climbing and crying at the same time. Poor Orange. See you again ya Orange? We go jogging =) In the meanwhile, be good.

Seeing her and playing with her was just so pleasant. Made me happy too. :)

CNY Open House

It was Friday which meant party time~~~~~~~!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~

My assistant production manager, she has this open house in every CNY. This year was a bit late, as we were all occupied with something.

Right at 6.30pm, to those that were attending, gone in a second (back home getting prepared, went for yoga class, cooking, getting food, shopping).... haha

I stayed back with another colleague, to help our APM. So we went to the nearest Jusco, got all sorts of tidbits, drinks and stuff... Once entered, she asked, do you guys wanna eat cake? We both nodded happily and there she gave me 100 bucks to get cakes!! YAY~~~

And these were what we bought.....


Secret Recipe's Cuppocino Cheese, Expresso Cheese, Marble Cheese, Raspberry Cheese, Yogurt Cheese, Black Forest, Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Indulgence, Manggo Delight, Tiramisu, White Chocolate Macadamia and Sugar Free Moist Chocolate. What an awesome mixture!!

Looking soooo GREAT isn't it???

We quickly paid for the cakes, food, drinks and stuff and rushed back to her condo in Jalan Ampang...... up on the hill. LOL.

But...................... bad traffic jam!! By the time we reached, it was already 8 something..

My APM 'boiling' sotong balls. haha

It was actually frying. I know, the pot was so not fitting. She used a claypot to fry sotong balls. HAHA

And these cheesey hotdogs.

Guests starting to pile up at 8.30pm....... Which means food adding up!!

I didn't get any pictures of us eating and gambling (what? that's CNY right?)... We had 'lami', mah joong, blackjack and in between. All going on at the same time.... 'Grand' right?? haha..

At about 10pm, director Kenne came with her gf... holding a cake from Alexis in her hands!! Woah!! 2 boxes of cakes in a night, and with all those food (we had some other food that I didn't take picture)..... so we kept the Secret Recipe's wonders (ate it as breakfast) and ate this Alexis cake....

Wonderful, they said.

I didn't get to try out that Alexis cake, because I almost couldn't sat down because I was too full. I'm very sure if I sat down, I'd had puked all over. LOL....

We all had fun that night, party ended at 4am++ (yea, next day we all still went to work)... although I left at 11pm. Mom was urging me to go back... sighs.. what to do.. said dangerous to drive alone in the middle of night... No curfew at home, but I think actually it does =.=

A Happy and Special Day

Today, me and my colleagues went to have lunch in this Hong Kong style Cafe in Pandan Indah... I think it was quite a delicious meal... so here it goes....

This is awesome!! Seafood stonerice. See, still sizzling.

It is at a cafe called "Tsim Tung" (尖东) with reasonable price. :)) And that's the main point. Ha!


When I got back to my office, a man came.

"Ms Jenn ada tak?"

There my colleague intercom me and I went straight upstairs.... and I got this. What a surprise again!!

Chiang Chiang~~ Nice wrapping right??

They were all asking, hey who sent you this huh? Showing me curious and 'suspecting' looks. I was very nervous and curious to know who sent that to me too!! Heart pumping and asking myself... who would it be? Mr right appearing?? Hehe..... (shy.............. :P)

I went back to my place, and unwrapped it.

YAY~~ Wall's Cornetto cones!! Yeeha~~

One of my favourite desserts is ice cream. Hee. These ice creams were given by Wall's Cornetto due to Valentine's Day. During this period, they will give out 100,000 Cornetto cones to the public to celebrate the season of love and friendship!! How good is that!!

So I chose a Cornetto Disc Vanilla for myself. Cheese~~

Later, I went to share the joy with my colleagues.... Luckily I took one and kept it (for mom) [mom I love u mom], because those cones were gone in a second. Not all had the cones. Sorry to those that didn't get one, not enough.

Those that had it................................................................. were...... flattered???

He was shy I guess.

And a couple, that were too shy even to take a picture only. Ha Ha Ha. But overall, all were happy to have a Wall's Cornetto cone during work time. :)) It is always good to share when you can all the people are happy to have what you share with them.

Yummy~~ it tasted so good.

Later at night when I reached home, mom happily ate it right after her dinner. Haha. Another Ice cream lover. "like mother like daughter" :D
