Foodie and massage trip - Krabi Oct 2015

I've been to Krabi about 5 years back when I visited Phi Phi Island. This time, I went again with my sis right after my bro's wedding.

Right after we arrived at Krabi Airport, we went to the bus counter to buy a bus ticket to Aonang Beach, cost is THB 150 per person.

If you're in a group of 4 people, I suggest you to take taxi, cost around THB 500 only, faster and more comfortable.

This bus would stop at a travel agency and they would promote the tour packages and taxi back to the airport for your departure. There we wasted about an hour staying in the agency! Then a private taxi would send you to your hotel.

Spot my cute luggage :D

This is how the bus looks like~ quite comfortable.

Our stay for 3 nights, i check in Ao Nang Krabi.
It is located almost the end of Ao Nang Beach, but we didn't mind the walking~

Very cosy and new hotel.

Cosy room~

First meal of the trip, surprise found: Sharke! (Shake)
Not sure it's name, but it's a food stall in front of family mart.

Tom Yam Soup Noodles~

Kharw Kra Prao Moo, lovely!

Phad Thai! Must have~~~

My sis couldn't get enough of tom yam~

Time to walk around the night market~

Sunset massage, the place that we visited almost every day!

I had a 3 hours massage here for only THB 800!
So worth it~~~ ^^

Thai black tea is my fav!

Thailand rotee~ must have also!

So crunchy~~

Egg and cheese flavour is the bomb!

Boossabaporn Spa~
Very very good quality!
They even has transportation to send us back to Aonang for free!

I took an hour of massage, cost was about THB 1800, almost fell asleep!

Lots of oil for you to choose from~
Highly recommended!

Boat Noodle Ao Nang, I had the best boat noodle here!

Coconut shake, my favourite!

Look at the thick broth!

Thai style "or-jien" (fried oyster cake)~

Various vege + egg soup, good!

Fried prawns.... was ok.

Plenty of seats upstairs.
We went back the next day, walked a good 45 mins, but it was closed T_T

The famous sculpture.

I was walking the blazing hot sun without an umbrella or hat, had to go into 7-11 to take a rest.

Boat noodle not opened, so we walked into this restaurant nearby.
Thai tea!

Phad Thai again!

I like eggs, like A LOT!!!

Very delicious Tom Yam!

Pineapple fried rice!

My favourite too: grilled cockles~

Cute shop, sadly it was closed down.

Aonang Beach.

Met a steady big meow.

Bye Krabi. I love this place.

That's all about my trip to Krabi, all food and massages only :D

Gecko House (Gecko Cabane)

Krabi Cozy Place was the place we stayed during our trip in Krabi, it's located in the city center of Krabi Town.

Nearby, just 2 minutes walk, located a very unique restaurant called Gecko House (Gecko Cabane), a European taste Thai food restaurant. I like it a lot as the decorations and arrangements in the restaurant are really cool.

This is the restaurant, with the sign board of our place of stay.

It's a very green place.

The entrance.
Felt like you're about to have an adventure.

Spot the Geckos!

Really cozy and homey kind of restaurant.

Wanna play chongkak?

The owner said, they're still furnishing this place.
I said, it's already very nice now.

Lamp, light up your path in the dark.

Love every corner in the restaurant.

The corner for the owner to get ready the drinks.

^_^ me and the boss in the frame~

cute plant.

The wind chime made of seashells.

Various bottle openers.

Posing time again~

On the left corner of the restaurant.

Nobody knows it's a restaurant by looking at this picture.

This too.

YAY~ Gecko House!

Big boss pose.

2 big bosses.

Waiting for the food to come~

I kept walking around taking pics :P

The other side of the restaurant.

The owner's son, super cute.
A very obedient boy following his mom and dad around, learning to serve the customers :)

Nice features he has.
Must be very attractive when he's grown up.

Drink drink drink!

Hahahaha... funny face.

Artsy shots by meng nan #2

The drinking water they served. Nice.

The cap.

Relaxing~

Tuning the tv :P

Batik table covers.

Fried glass noodles.

Forgot what type of soup is this.

My Phat Thai, very different kind.
I like it!

Egg salad, look at the nicely boiled and peeled egg!

I really like this restaurant, I strongly suggest you to visit it if you're happen to be in Krabi Town. Really a cozy place, however, you need to have patience to wait for the food as lady boss is the one who cooks.

Here's the details and address of the restaurant:

Add: 1/36-37 Soi Ruam Jit,
Maharat Rd, Krabi Town,
Thailand 81000.
