Liverpool Cathedral

For 3 months that I stayed in Liverpool, I didn't get the chance to visit this landmark. It's just located right opposite of Dean Walters building, the place where I had all my tutorials.

So, a day before I left Liverpool to London, I paid a visit to this awesome place.

If I were to advance my studies to Masters and got to graduate, this would be the place for graduation!

The landmark.

The entrance.

The nice colourful glass. I love~~~~
I always love churches, classic ones.

A cafe in the cathedral itself.

The awesome architecture!

So grand~

Small small us~ big big painting.

The corridor. Every corner is an art.

After the visit, we went to have lunch. I remember it was a raining day and we had Chinese food.

While waiting for the food to be served, I got bored and entertained people.

Big bird with scarf.

Below are the pictures of what we ate, which I totally don't remember at all!!!

I think it was because I'd left these too long... where I had lost many pieces of memories T_T

I really need to catch up with blogging, I don't wanna lost those happy memories in the UK!!

Anyway, happy weekend peeps! Time to relax and enjoy the moment~

It's a month with lots of weddings.... to those that are getting married, congrats. To those that have to attend so many of them, pity your wallet. Ha HA!! Ciao~

Liverpool Museum

Liverpool Museum is a very interesting place to visit. It's not an ordinary museum, I'd say it's more like a science centre or a mini zoo? Look through the pics below and you'd know why I said so~

Egyptian statue at the entrance.

It's a very cool museum.
Look at the architecture!

Kiss kiss~

I have no idea why looking at them gave me goosebumps.

1 face fish? You must be very loyal because you are not 2 faced.

The funniest fish!

A closer look.
For no reason, I was laughing like mad when I was looking at this fella.

I like this aquarium~ :)

Grasshoppers. Lots of them!

Roaches! Ewwwwwww~~~~~

My favourite butterflies~~~

Specimens, loads of them!

Ok, time for games!

Find the skull of your own kind with the couzies :P

Hahhaa... no answer for the game. I did not take down the answers and I don't remember... sorry~ :P

So, you get what I mean the museum looks more like a science centre or mini zoo? It's a very interesting place~ I like it~ ^_^ and it brings back lots of good memories.

St George's Hall and St John's Garden

The activities that I had in Liverpool is seriously delayed for too long. I feel so bad that I've forgotten some of the details!! T_T

Now I can only put whatever I can remember.... I have to update the rest very very soon!!

On the 2nd of September 2008 (yeah, 3 years ago!!!), nothing particular to do, we're all just counting down the days to leave Liverpool, sadly, Ivan and I decided to visit St George's Hall and St John's Garden.

Opposite of St George's Hall, a big spider attached to a building!
I think it's a gimmick....

The statue of Albert Prince Consort.

Opposite of St George's Hall, it's the Empire Theatre.

It's a very grand building!

The Liverpool Cenotaph - the war memorials.

Lambanana again~

I like this one!

The hallway towards the prisons.
Yes, they have cells in here.

Ivan, heading to the cells.

The nice interior.

Judge: "Order!!!"

So cute~

Jenn:" I swear every word I say is true!"

Always love the colourful glass window...

Me and St George's organ.

Loving every detail.

Some scary looking statue. LOL

After that, we walked to the nearby St John's Garden, since for so long we were staying in Liverpool, we had never taken a look.

It was after the rain when we went, so the weather was a little bit gloomy.

Road peace!

One of the memorial statues in the park.

Me and The King's Regiment monument.
This is built to commemorate his service in the South African War.

There, St George's Hall in the background.

Green~ I love~

It's a very peaceful place. :)

Ahhh~~~ I really miss Liverpool dearly. It's getting cold there now, wish all the peeps there are healthy and happy as always. Miss you all folks!!
